Once again, Yamaha takes a good thing and makes it even better. Four strokes are fuel efficient, but add Yamaha's Precision Multi-Port Fuel Injection and you've got efficiency with a capital "E." It's now standard on our all new 50hp to 90hp midrange Four Strokes. What's more, Yamaha tiller models now offer our exclusive Variable Trolling Speed. VTS gives you more control, allowing you to adjust idle speed in 50-rpm increments (within 620-900 rpm on the F50 and F60, and within 550-1000 rpm on the F75 and F90). And the new Throttle Position Sensor maximizes acceleration at any speed. · Multi-Port Precision Fuel Injection uses four independent fuel injectors to deliver optimal fuel/air mix for easier starting, faster acceleration, increased top-end and better fuel economy. · Single Throttle Valve's simple, lightweight design provides greater reliability (50 to 90hp models). · High output Alternator provides strong charging even when using electronic accessories at trolling speed. · Power Trim & Tilt maximizes hole shot, acceleration and top-end speed. · Easy-access oil fill, dipstick and spin-on filter, and an oil pan drain designed for quick, make oil changes a breeze. · External Tilt Switch enables you to tilt the motor from outside the boat. · All four stroke midrange motors exceed the Federal EPA 2006 emission requirements and 50hp and up are CARB three-star compliant. · F115 is available in counter-rotating pairs – the perfect, fuel-efficient offshore package for midsize boats.
